Recovery is a Spiritual Journey
The staff at our Christian drug rehab teaches our clients to apply the principles of the 12 Steps to their daily lives. And, our Christian drug treatment center's comprehensive Christian program is based on both the Bible as well as sound medical and psychological principles. We know that most individuals cannot recover from chemical dependency by themselves; most need counseling, and our Christian drug rehab can help.
The Old and New Testament scriptures provide the guidelines used in our professional counseling at our Christian drug rehab; The Life Recovery Bible is used and our clients learn that the 12 steps of Alcoholics Anonymous were drawn from the Scriptures. While clients are going through the treatment process at our Christian drug treatment center, they are encouraged to accept God and ask for His help to bring change into their lives.
Clients who choose our Christian drug treatment center often exhibit signs of their own transformation to open minds and liberated spirits. This is when the clients in our Christian drug rehab realize they have the opportunity to free themselves from the addictive behavior of their previous life, and a personal relationship with God has been established.
Pacific Hills' Christian drug rehab serves the chemical dependent and their families and involves the church and/or counselors throughout treatment. Our Christian drug treatment program's goal is to restore our clients to their faith.
It starts with a phone call.
Testimonials
Before coming to Pacific Hills, I was confused, angry, hurt, and watching my life go from bad to worse. I had no idea how to get out of the pit I found myself in due to my destructive relationship with drugs and alcohol. I was stuck and in desperate need of help. Then, I was offered the opportunity to go to Pac Hills. Being out of options, I reluctantly agreed to “go to Rehab.” With preconceived ideas of how awful Rehab would be, I was surprisingly overwhelmed to find myself in a beautiful setting, right by the ocean, with qualified professionals who had the ability and willingness to help me. I felt I deserved to be punished but instead I received hope, help, and love.
At Pacific Hills, I was given a safe environment to share and process and had continued access to professional counselors, family therapists, and pastors. I was educated in the disease of addiction and was finally able to grasp what had been happening to me for so many years. During my time at Pac Hills, I gained all the tools and support I needed to begin my recovery and began to walk it out step by step, day by day. With the constant support of the staff, I quickly began to thrive in my recovery instead of merely survive.
I continue to be so grateful to Pac Hills for walking me through those critical first months of my recovery. In February of 2010, I celebrated my second year of sobriety from drugs and alcohol and I attribute my continued success to the foundation I built during my time at Pac Hills. I don’t know where I would be today if I was not given the gift of help from Pacific Hills because “going to Rehab” was one of the best decisions I have ever made. Today I enjoy a happy and healthy life, free from addiction, and filled with the tools, knowledge, and support to keep it that way.
